This policy covers the Owl & Atom YouTube channel (youtube.com/@owlandatom), this website (owlandatom.com) and Owl & Atom Uploader, a private internal tool that the channel owner uses to publish the channel's own videos.

Owl & Atom Uploader and YouTube API Services

Owl & Atom Uploader uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

The tool is not offered to the public and has no other users. It signs in only to the Owl & Atom channel's own Google account, with that account owner's permission, and uses that permission to:

upload the channel's own videos and set their titles, descriptions, thumbnails and publish times;
add caption files to the channel's own videos;
read basic information about the channel's own videos (for example, upload status).

It does not access, collect, store or share any data about other YouTube users or channels.

What is stored, and where

The sign-in token that Google issues to the tool is stored only on the channel owner's computer. No YouTube data is stored on any server, sold or shared with third parties. Video files and metadata are kept on the owner's computer, and on YouTube once published.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account's security settings (third-party access). Revoking it stops the tool from using the account immediately.

This website

owlandatom.com uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and collects no personal information. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Viewers of our videos

When you watch our videos on YouTube, YouTube's own privacy policy applies. We only see the aggregated, anonymous statistics that YouTube provides to all creators.
